"Let Your Kingdom Come" was written by Bob Kauflin, the Director of Worship for Sovereign Grace Churches and one of the most thoughtful voices in the modern worship movement. Kauflin based the hymn on prayers from "The Valley of Vision," a collection of Puritan prayers and devotions compiled by Arthur Bennett and published in 1975. The Valley of Vision has become a beloved resource in Reformed circles, offering deeply personal and theologically rich prayers from seventeenth-century Puritans like John Bunyan, Richard Baxter, and David Brainerd.
